Free Junior Squash for World Squash Day

POSTED Thursday 26 September 2019

World Squash Day 2019 is happening on Saturday 12 October, and to celebrate, the University’s squash club is inviting young players, both new to the game or with experience, to join them for a free squash session, to try and encourage more people into the sport.

Squash events are being held around the globe on 12 October to celebrate the sport and introduce new players. Here at the University of Birmingham, which is home to both the British Junior Open, the most prestigious squash competition for juniors, and the squash event for the 2022 Commonwealth Games, our student Squash Club is organising a FREE ‘big hit’ for juniors who are interested in picking up a racquet and trying something new! Read on for more information, and celebrate this wonderful game with the club next month.

What is it?

Our World Squash Day 2019 Junior ‘Big Hit’ will be a fun event and great opportunity for juniors to try playing squash. We’re hoping to inspire the next generation of young squash players!

How much does it cost?

It’s free!

How do I sign up?
