Sport Futures Days
at the University of Birmingham
We are delighted to launch our University of Birmingham Sports Recruitment Days for this year and are pleased to be able to invite talented and driven young athletes to join us.
Alongside the University of Birmingham’s globally recognised success with the rise to 68th in the QS World University Rankings, the award of Daily Mail University of The Year for 2027 and the University ranked first in the Russell Group for student satisfaction in the National Student Survey, we will enter the next academic year with additional investment in sport, including an enhanced number of sports scholarships and financial support for student athletes.Â
Â
We now invite prospective students to join us for a day at the University to experience our sport, meet our student athletes and sport industry professionals to learn more about how high level sporting performance is combined with outstanding academic provision to maximise student outcomes.
The day will consist of a talk to players and parents about our programme, training session(s) with our student teams, a Parent talk about University Sport, a student Q&A panel and a full campus tour to include our Sport and Fitness Centre and an opportunity to meet some members of the university’s academic staff. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
A full itinerary and details will be shared when we have final numbers confirmed.
The closing date for registration for all these events is Wednesday 14 October, with one exception – Netball closes on Wednesday 11 November.
If you are seeking to apply after these deadlines, please contact Helen Waters, Sport Recruitment Manager, on [email protected], who will direct you to the relevant member of staff.
The closing date for registration for all these events is Monday 12Â October, with one exception – Netball closes on Wednesday 11Â November.
