We have two squads: competition and development. This means we are able to welcome all abilities. Our competition squad consists of three teams: 1st, 2nd and 3rd, which compete in the BUCS leagues and a Friendly team who also compete in their own league. You don’t have to own your own horse or have ever owned your own horse to be on the team!

At competitions you have 7 minutes to ride a horse before you ride a Dressage test or show jumping round and get marks for style and accuracy. In 2015, we were BUCS National Champions and have always been a high performing team.

We look forward to meeting and welcoming lots of new members this year to continue our fun and successful club.

How to get involved

REGISTER INTEREST

We are a friendly, inclusive club for those looking to continue riding whilst at uni and for those who wish to take up an interesting new hobby! We cater for everyone from competitive riders to those who have never sat on a horse before. As well as training and competitions we host socials every week and our club is a great way to meet new people and make really good friends for your time at university!

Taster session and/or trial information will be available soon. The membership fees are Seecham (£160) and Brookhouse (£30).

Please note that on top of the club fee there is a £16 fee that covers personal accident insurance when training or competing for the University, access to free cross-training sessions such as circuits and yoga, as well as a contribution to the costs of affiliation to various national governing bodies.  This fee is only payable once so if you did decide to join a second club then you would not need to pay a second fee.

A great opportunity to improve skills and make friends.
