The University of Birmingham is one of the most successful in British Student golf, and golf has been played at the university for over 50 years. With four teams competing in the British University’s Championships (BUCS) leagues and knockouts; the club regularly tops the BUCS golf points league table winning leagues and individual strokeplay tournaments.
Alumni from the club have gone on to compete in elite amateur events and on both the European Tour and Ladies European Tour. The Golf club is a great way to continue a hobby whilst studying your degree. With weekly socials and other aspects included. Our 5th team are for a more relaxed player competing against local clubs and universities. Range sessions every Monday evening are held at Wast Hills Golfbug and offer a chance to let off some steam and practice within the golf squad.
The golf club is grateful for the support it receives from the R&A.

Taster session and/or trial information will be available soon. The membership fee is £125.
