Handball

Handball is a friendly club that welcomes players of all abilities, from those who want to play socially to those who wish to play more competitively. Last year was our most successful year to date with 94 registered members and winning our first piece of silverware. We currently have 5 teams (comprising 3 Men’s and 2 Women’s) and we are always on the look out for additional players, regardless of the experience they have.

The club enters a Men’s and a Women’s team in regional leagues and the University Championships where our Men’s 1st Team won the National Plate in 2019, but also cultivates a lively, friendly social side as well. We attend every sports night and have team socials that cater for everybody. So, whether you’re a complete novice or a European superstar, don’t miss out on a great opportunity to join our fantastic club.

How to get involved

REGISTER INTEREST

Please note that on top of the club fee there is a £16 fee that covers personal accident insurance when training or competing for the University, access to free cross-training sessions such as circuits and yoga, as well as a contribution to the costs of affiliation to various national governing bodies.  This fee is only payable once so if you did decide to join a second club then you would not need to pay a second fee.

Fun, fast, exciting and rewarding.
