Table Tennis
The Table Tennis club is a fantastic opportunity to play the sport at a high and competitive level while also having the ability to socialise and make lasting friendships and memories. We train twice a week with matches on Wednesday with 2 men’s teams and 1 women’s team. We encourage people of all abilities and if you don’t make the first team squad we still run a development squad training session every Saturday which is a great place to increase your ability.
Alongside all of this we have socials each week where everyone is welcome. We often do inter-squad tournaments each term where everyone in the squad can compete against each other for a prize but more importantly to see who can get some bragging rights.
How to get into Table Tennis
Taster session and/or trial information will be available soon.
Membership fee
– Main squads – £90
– Development – £40
Please note that on top of the club fee there is a £16 fee that covers personal accident insurance when training or competing for the University, access to free cross-training sessions such as circuits and yoga, as well as a contribution to the costs of affiliation to various national governing bodies. This fee is only payable once so if you did decide to join a second club then you would not need to pay a second fee.
