Performance Support

Physiotherapy

Assess, treat and prevent sports injuries with a Sports Doctor appointment, physiotherapy or sports massage.

Whether you are an elite athlete, a fun-runner, or recovering from an injury, our Sport Medicine team located in the Performance Centre of University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness offers a comprehensive service to prevent, manage and treat sport injuries.

The team is led by a consultant in (SEM) Sport and Exercise Medicine alongside specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapists, soft tissue therapists (sports massage) as well as rehabilitation conditioning coaches. The clinic is open to the public, so if you need to arrange a consultation or appointment with a sports medic, or physiotherapist appointment you can self-refer yourself to the clinic.
