How to find us
The University has a dedicated train station, located at the Westgate entrance to campus. Up to six trains an hour depart for the University on the cross-city line between Redditch / Longbridge and Lichfield. Sport & Fitness is a ten-minute walk from University Station.
Numbers 61, X62 and 63 travel to the University of Birmingham Edgbaston campus. Sport & Fitness is located by the Southgate entrance to campus. The services all run frequently from the city centre.
Online bus timetables for 61, X62 and 63 are available on the National Express West Midlands website.
There are 80 free, secure bicycle spaces within Sport & Fitness’ car park. Access to the car park is from Edgbaston Park Road. There are also multiple West Midlands Cycle Hire docking stations close by.
We have a large dedicated car park for community members and users of the club to park. The entrance to the car park is located on Edgbaston Park Road. It includes 18 disabled bays and six motorcycle spaces.
There are validation machines within Sport & Fitness, as well as pay stations. Community members receive a complementary 3 hours parking on site. Parking charges will apply for community Pay and Go users.
Staff members can park on campus in the usual way.

Standard Charges:
- Up to 1.5hrs: £2.00
- 1.5 to 2.5hrs: £10.00
- 2.5 to 3.5hrs: £15.00
- 3.5 to 4.5hrs: £20.00
- 4.5hrs plus: £25.00
Community Member Charges:
- Up to 3hrs: FREE
- 3 to 3.5hrs: £2.00
- 3.5 to 5.5hrs: £5.00
- 5.5hrs plus: £10.00
