Our 10m climbing wall offers an exhilarating and ever-evolving addition to your workout routine. With 30+ routes which change regularly, every climb will use different muscles giving you the ultimate full body workout. Discover more

Climbing sessions

We currently run two types of climbing session:

Climbing induction

These sessions are for less competent climbers or those who haven’t climbed before. These sessions can take up to two hours to complete, depending on the individual. Maximum of four climbers per instructor.

Open session

These sessions are for competent and experienced climbers only. Climbers attending these sessions will be asked to demonstrate their level of climbing competency to our staff. Participants can attend these sessions at any point from the start time, and stay as long as they like, up until the end time.

Try A Sport courses

We also run 4 week courses in line with University terms, but they are available to all adult members and non-members, so whether you’re a student, staff or community member you can try a new sport at Sport & Fitness.
