GYM GROUP TRAINING

Available to students with a Sport & Fitness Prime; Sport & Fitness Core; Tiverton Gym Plus or non-student members who have classes included in their membership (inclusive membership).

Gym Group Training is 30 to 60-minute sessions available every day of the week. These programmed sessions will add variety and all-round body conditioning to your workouts. Very different from group exercise classes, Gym Group Training is designed by personal trainers using cardio equipment, free weights, bodyweight and flexibility exercises.

Gym Group Training must be booked online in advance, you cannot book at reception or attend without an advance booking.

Gym Group Training sessions are not available on Pay & Go.

WHAT IS GYM GROUP TRAINING?

GYM GROUP TRAINING TIMETABLE

Please note that we are no longer using Studio 2 for GGT classes, so check the app prior to your class to check the location. Classes will take place in either:

Studio 1 – on the ground floor of Sport and Fitness, at the far end of the building. Once through the reception barriers, walk to the end of the corridor and it is the studio located directly ahead.

Performance Gym – on the second floor of Sport and Fitness. Use either the lift or stairs, located through the double doors to the right of Studio 1, and go to the second floor. Once on the second floor, swipe through the double doors on the right and the Performance Gym will be the first room on the right.

This timetable and designated instructors are subject to change. Classes will be updated on the booking system weekly. You can book via the website or the UB Sport & Fitness app from seven days in advance, up to five minutes before the class start time. You must have made an advance booking online to attend a Gym Group Training sessions.1
