Frequently Asked Questions

You can decide between yourselves which member will have the joining fee waiver applied to their account.

 

This offer is only open to non-student members, so both new members must be either community, staff or alumni members.

This offer applies to both monthly and annual memberships.

As long as you let us know during your tour/consult that you want to join with a friend, we can apply the joining fee waiver to the second person’s account.

Please make your consultant aware of the name and contact details of the person you intend to join with in order to claim this offer.

If you requested a tour before 11.59pm on Sunday 16 August, you can still claim this offer by quoting the code JOINTOGETHER during your tour or consult.

Terms & Conditions

  • This offer is valid to community, alumni, over 65 and staff members of University of Birmingham Sport & Fitness purchasing monthly or annual memberships.
  • Usual joining fee is £35 per person, for this offer pay only one joining fee between two.
  • New members must be over the age of 18.
  • Offer not redeemable online. To redeem this offer please book an in person tour or consult and quote the code JOINTOGETHER when signing up.
  • Enquire or request a tour by 16 August 2026. Tour or consult may take place after this date as long as initial request is before 11.59pm 16 August.
