Motor Racing

The University of Birmingham Motor Racing Club (UBMRC) is one of the most entertaining (and fastest) club that the University of Birmingham has to offer.

We are here to make motor racing as enjoyable and affordable as we possibly can for any student, no matter whether you have zero racing experience or have been racing competitively for years.

Throughout the year you can enjoy a range of activities from interactive social racing to high-level nationwide karting at the British University Karting Championship (BUKC), a championship that has seen drivers from F1, BTCC, F3 and more.

In the run up to the BUKC (British Universities Karting Championship) season, we attend test days at karting tracks around the country. Social races are held at karting circuits in the local Birmingham area.

We are interested in all things motorsport! Come to any of our socials and you’ll find plenty of like-minded motorsport enthusiasts to relax and have fun with. Anywhere you can watch, drive or even get on a simulator, you’ll find us there.

Follow us on social media and get involved.
