At the University of Birmingham Netball Club, we support high performing athletes to continue to excel within the wider netball community. Many of our performance athletes play NPL and NSL, with some also competing in England Netball’s Premier League. The location of the University of Birmingham means that athletes have opportunities to play at several franchises: Severn Stars; Loughborough Lightning and Central Warriors.

Our unrivalled performance programme is led by expert coaching staff who are constantly striving to improve and develop both individual and team performances. Our coaches work with a wide range of performance support services (including S&C, physiotherapy, nutrition, performance analysis and psychology) to ensure a well-rounded and holistic approach to athlete development.

Do you currently play competitively and are interested in competing for/training during your time at the University of Birmingham? Register your interest below and your details will be passed on to our performance coach.

If you are interested in recreational Netball, we offer weekly social Netball sessions as part of our Social Sport programme. Sessions will either be coached by a qualified coach, or ‘just play’.
