Campus League hosts the University of Birmingham’s internal weekly social sport leagues, held throughout Terms one and two of the academic year.Â

Students, Staff and UoB Alumni can enter as part of an existing departmental team, society, halls, or simply just as a group of friends!Â
Our termly leagues will include:
- 11-a-side Football
- 6-a-side Football
- Hockey
- Netball
- Basketball
Campus League taster sessions
Campus League hosts the University of Birmingham’s internal weekly social sport leagues, held throughout Terms one and two of the academic year.
Campus League tasters at the beginning of the academic year, so you can meet others looking to form a team! All tasters are bookable via the Sport & Fitness app, under Social Sport.
- Thursday 24 September | Campus League Netball Taster | 12.00pm – 1.00pm | Location TBC
- Friday 25 September | Campus League 6-a-side Taster | 1.00pm – 2.00pm | Location TBC
- Saturday 26 September | Campus League Basketball Taster | 11.00am – 1.00pm | Location TBC
- Sunday 27 September | Campus League Hockey Taster | 12.00pm – 2.00pm | Location TBC

If you're looking for a team to join, whether that's in Hockey, Netball or Football, you can take a look at our Campus League Team finder and contact them directly to get started!
- Download the UBSport&Fitness app
- Login using your University of Birmingham email address. If you do not know or have forgotten your PIN, please select Forgotten PIN and login with your UoB email address to reset. You will be unable to book without using your UoB email address.
- Once you have logged into the app, click into the Social Sport icon and find the league you wish to book.
Please note:
- bookings are on a first come, first served basis. When a league is full, it will close for booking and not show on the system.
- You need to use a UoB email address to book campus league entries, therefore Alumni cannot captain a team or be a lead booker, but are welcome to participate.
- Following your booking, you (the bookee) will receive an email from [email protected]. This email should be sent the morning after your initial booking.
- You will be sent a Welcome Pack of information, which will contain a team sheet that will need completing, alongside a copy of the league rules.
- The Team Sheet must be returned to [email protected] before your first fixture, or you will be unable to compete. All members of your team must state that they have read and agreed to adhere to the league rules prior to your team’s first match.
Once the Team Sheet has been returned, your nominated captain will receive details of captain’s training, including Playwaze information and how to access your fixtures. This will not be sent until the above is received by [email protected]
Term 1 fixtures are planned to begin the week commencing Monday 28 September 2026. All details will be confirmed to you once you have booked.
Campus league is open to UoB Students, Staff and Alumni.
Team Captains: You will need to book onto your chosen league using your UoB email address. therefore alumni cannot captain a team (i.e. be the lead contact who completes the booking) however you are welcome to join and participate in any of our Campus League teams.
Each Campus League sport is priced individually.Â
Prices displayed below, are per team, per term:
- 6-a-side Football (10 team league): £175
- 6-a-side Football (6 team league): £150
- 11-a-side Football (termly booking): £215
- Netball (umpired): £175
- Netball (self-umpired): £135
- Hockey: £328
- Basketball: £148
CAMPUS LEAGUE SPORTS REP 2023-24
Are you interested in working as a Campus League rep for your sport for the 2023-24 academic year? We are keen to hear from students who love sport and would like experience working within the sector, who have a strong passion for making sport accessible to all!
This is a voluntary position that will require 4-5-hours commitment per week, with compulsory availability needed for Sports Fair (Tuesday 19 September) and Week 1 of term (w/c 25 September) for trials and tasters.
It’s a great opportunity to develop your communication and organisational skills for your CV and future job applications, while also being involved in a programme you are passionate about.Â
Those successful in applying for Campus League Reps, will be given a free Peak Prime membership at Sport and Fitness for the upcoming academic year!
