This Exam Period with

DESTRESSTIVAL

This exam period, we are hosting a range of FREE classes and social sport sessions for you to attend to help you to de-stress! 

 

All you need to do is simply book via the Sport & Fitness app, or book on arrival at Sport & Fitness reception.

 

Places are LIMITED, so we encourage you to book in advance, and cancel if you can no longer attend!

If it is your first time at Sport and Fitness or you’re new to classes and you’re not sure where your class is located, please ask our reception team who will be very happy to help!

 

If you arrive in clothing ready for your class, you are welcome to bring your bags into the Studio. If you require a locker band, these can be rented from our reception for £5, which will then be refunded upon the same day return of the band.

 

Changing rooms are available on the ground floor of Sport and Fitness, which include individual, accessible to all, changing rooms, alongside male and female group changing rooms.

Class Dictionary

Weights & Conditioning – full body strengthening, body weight and equipment-based class utilising hand weights, bars, kettlebells and more. Class structure specific to each instructor.

Body Attack – a high energy cardio workout to awesome music. Body Attack uses interval training with athletic, aerobic, agility and strength exercises, with recoveries and options for all fitness levels.

Body Balance – a calming combination of Flow Yoga, Tai Chi and Pilates, building flexibility and strength set to beautiful music. Suitable for all abilities and during pregnancy.

Body Combat – an empowering, stress-relieving martial arts inspired workout that is completely non-contact. Moves are inspired by Karate, Muay Thai, Capoeira, Boxing and Kung Fu, set to a great playlist.

Gentle Stretch – gentle midday stretch session – perfect for breaking up your day whilst increasing your flexibility!

Yoga – a gentle, accessible Yoga session to wind down before the weekend. Taught with options and adaptations throughout, please wear clothes that you feel comfortable moving in, or your Friday lectur/work attire is great too!
