Athletics Team Scholarship
The University of Birmingham Athletics Team Scholarship supports our performance athletes outside the EDCAP programme to best compete for BUCS (British Universities & Colleges Sport) medals & championship points, as well as international honours.
A one-year award with all current students eligible, all scholars will receive services worth approximately £3,000, including:
- Physiotherapy & treatment
- Strength and Conditioning programming & coaching
- Access to the HIPAC indoor facility at the Alexander Stadium
- Sports Performance Workshops
- Physiological Testing
- Academic Flexibility

Hitting standard does not guarantee ATS member for 23-24, with the relative strength of event within current squad taken into consideration when awards are made. Performance must have taken place in the last 12 month (22-23 season).

Please be aware that achieving the relevant consideration standard does not guarantee ATS membership for the following academic year, with the relative strength of the event within the current squad taken into consideration when awards are made. Performances must have taken place in the previous 12 months with decisions being made in the first week of September preceding the academic year. Incoming students achieving ATS standards may also be eligible for a University of Birmingham Sport Scholarship. Information on this can be found in the scholarship section of the website.
