Shortlist revealed for Sports Awards 2025

As the University of Birmingham marks our 125 anniversary, the 2025 Sports Awards are set to be a standout celebration of everything that makes our sporting community so special.

Glass trophy for Georgia Pexton - Coach of the Year

Every year, the Sports Awards spotlight the individuals and teams whose commitment, passion, and achievements have made a lasting impact – from elite athletes and standout student coaches to inclusive clubs and game-changing volunteers.

This year’s ceremony takes place on Thursday 29 May 2025, and we’re excited to share the shortlist across all categories. The winners will be revealed on the night as we come together to honour another unforgettable year in UoB Sport.
