#GoingForGlasgow: Follow Team UoB at the Commonwealth Games
The sporting spotlight will soon be turning to Glasgow as athletes from across the Commonwealth prepare to compete on one of the biggest stages in international sport. Among them will be a host of University of Birmingham athletes, alumni and staff, all ready to represent their nations with pride.
To celebrate their journeys and help our community get behind them, University of Birmingham Sport is launching a special Commonwealth Games content series: #GoingForGlasgow
Over the coming weeks, we look forward to introducing the athletes and staff selected for Glasgow and sharing their stories, ambitions and preparations as they count down to competition. From training insights and behind-the-scenes perspectives, to personal reflections on what it means to represent their country, we’ll bring you closer to the people behind the performances and the realities behind the results.
We’ll also be keeping you up to date with competition schedules and key dates, making it easier than ever to follow the action and support our Birmingham representatives throughout the Games.
