XpLosION | American Football

Get ready for the return of xpLosION, one of the biggest events in the University of Birmingham sporting calendar. On Saturday 8 November, the Lions face Oxford Brookes in an all action American Football showdown under the lights at Bournbrook. Expect electric performances from our Cheerleading club, the Pussycats, alongside DanceSoc, with the atmosphere powered by the incredible DJSoc. The night finishes in style with a spectacular fireworks display. Bring your mates, bring your energy and be part of the pride as we roar on the Lions in true Birmingham style. Students and the local community are all welcome.

For the second time, the boxing club is bringing a night of amateur boxing to UOB campus. Munrow Arena will be transformed into a boxing showcase spectacular, hosting ten fights between UoB athletes and external athletes to display the best the sport has to offer.
With tickets starting from £5, the event offers both bleacher and ringside seating, along with a bar and a raffle, promising a night of fun and entertainment.
